Super boring seminar... n etc

Wow... just went to UNITEN for a super duper boring seminar on tax!!! wtf!!

First we had to all like wake up at 0500 to get ready cos we have to be in college by 0530. Then we travelled almost 2 hours by bus all the way to Uniten, Muadzam Shah, Pahang Darul Makmur!!!

Then not only is the talk boring... we dun even have the slightest idea what the fark are they talking about!!!

I slept in the lecture hall twice!!!

And the aircond there is so freaking cold!! I almost died, even in my blouse, slacks and coat! Me and my friend Tee wrote the comment in their "survey" at the end of the seminar : "The air cond is too cold. I think it's trying to kill us!" LOL!!!

I think the main highlight of the seminar for all of us was the breakfast, lunch and teatime!!! Kakakakaka...

Met my bf's parents for the first time. Was in such jitters and wobbly state. Was never good at meeting the parents kinda scene. Anyhoo, bought a box of Ginseng Bird Nest for them. I think buying stuff for people is appropriate for first time meeting them right??? Haha... I dono... like I said, Im never good at meeting the parents. Or talking to them...

His dad is the quiet type of guy. His mum's a nice cheerful lady. Me? I was never good at talking to older generations. So all I did was greet them and just sat quietly beside my bf. But his mum kept talking to me so the more we talked, the more it was comfortable to talk to her. His dad was still quiet though.

Went over to his home everyday this week. His parents seem to like me more and more. His mum was always happy and smiling when she sees me. And always sits me down to have a chat with me. Lol... nice...

What amazed and shocked my bf was when his dad talked to me on the 3rd day!!! He said that in the 4 1/2 yrs he was dating his ex, his dad din even talk to her or acknowledge her when she called "uncle"!

N his mum asks me to go over to their home to have dinner... even when my bf's not around!!!

Weird thing is... I have never bothered to buy stuff for my ex's family when I went to see them. But for my bf, I bought the Ginseng Bird Nest for them the first time I went over. My bf din wan me to buy anything for them, but I absolutely made sure I bought something for them! And then last night, when I was buying cake for my family, I suddenly thought of getting his family one too... so I bought a cake for them! I know u're thinking, alaa... just a cake only ma... but still, it's like... I dono... I guess it's something new for me... it's like somehow or another, I wanna do something for his family as well, not just for me and him!

It's... weird... but... nice... =)
